‘One for All, All for One’ comic book officially released

14 Nov 2022

The NIHR MPRU and Wellcome funded 'One for All, All for One' public engagement project was set up to interrogate factors affecting vaccine hesistancy, as well as provide accessible information on herd immunity in creative formats to local communities and a global audience. We are proud to announce the launch and digital release of the ‘One for All, All for One’ comic book.

The stories in this comic book have been generated through a dialogue with communities in Malawi around immunisation, community protection with vaccines, misinformation and research involvement. The comic book, written by Planet Divoc-91’s Nabeel Petersen and illustrated by Cape Town street artist Mohamed Hassan,  is available in English and Chichewa. The English version can be found on the NHS Vocal website. Print versions will be available after 24 November 2022, and a motion comic is currently under development.

Please read the press release and interviews with the creators here. If you or your colleagues would like further details, are interested in translating the comic into multiple languages, and/or for us to send you a copy of the comic following the release, please contact Rodrick Sambakunsi: rsambakunsi [at] mlw [dot] mw
