Dr Kwambana-Adams awarded GCRF: UCL Internal Small Grants fund

Congratulations to MPRU postdoc Dr Brenda Kwambana-Adams for her successful application to the UCL Grand Challenges Small Grants scheme. The scheme supports new cross-disciplinary collaborations tackling societally important questions. Brenda has been awarded slightly over £70,000 to investigate blood testing as a method to increase case ascertainment and the rapidity of emergency responses during meningococcal meningitis outbreaks in the African meningitis belt (BloTIMA).
