MPRU postdoctoral research associate Dr Caroline Weight presented her research on pneumococcal-epithelial interactions at the Lorne Infection and Immunity 2021 virtual conference, which is hosted by the Victorian Infection & Immunity Network and the Australian Infectious Disease Research Centre. Her talk is titled "Mutations in Streptococcus pneumoniae biosynthesis genes influence pneumococcal interactions with human respiratory epithelial cells and alter the epithelial-innate immune response."
